How Feel Warm collects, uses and protects the information you share with us.
Last updated: October 2026
Feel Warm helps homeowners in Scotland understand renewable-energy options and funding, and introduces them to MCS-certified installer partners. Feel Warm is not an installer. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Feel Warm. We are the controller of the personal information you give us through this website.
When you complete our enquiry form, we collect:
Our website may also collect limited technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working properly.
We rely on your consent to share your enquiry with an installer partner. We rely on our legitimate interests to respond to your enquiry and run our service, and on legal obligation where the law requires us to keep or share information. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, although this will not affect anything we have already done with your consent.
We only share your enquiry with an installer partner when you have given clear consent on our enquiry form. That installer partner will use your information to contact you about your enquiry and will be responsible for how they handle it under their own privacy notice.
We also use trusted service providers, such as our website host and email provider, to run this website. They only process your information on our instructions. We do not sell your personal information.
Feel Warm may receive a referral fee from an installer partner if an introduction results in an installation. We are open about this from the start, and you are never under any obligation to proceed with an installation.
We keep enquiry information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, including any period needed to manage referral records or meet legal requirements, and then delete it securely.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to ask for it to be transferred, and to withdraw your consent. To make a request, please contact us.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Our website uses essential cookies needed for it to work properly. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
